Tonight Wright said such a sweet prayer that I wanted to write it down. It went like this...
Dear God, thank you for Jesus, thank you for healing the sick people, thank you for taking care of us, thank you for loving us even when we make mistakes. In your name we pray, Amen.
I suppose that this is why Jesus tells us to have faith like a child. He sure nailed it, didn't he?

Jack-O-Lanterns
We had a great time carving pumpkins. Wright had been begging to do it for weeks and he chose the monster looking stencil. Brendan and I did the cat :) Happy Halloween!

Batman Birthday Party
Wright is 4 and we celebrated with a Batman themed backyard party. This year we had just boys from Sports Camp and school and it was a perfect small group which made it less overwhelming for Wright (he broked down several times last year). All in all a big success!
Posing before the party.
My bat boys.
My sister let me borrow her batman tee shirt from Brewer's bday party.
Wesley and Spencer - getting to be good buddies :)
We got a Batman bounce house.
And played Bat, Bat, Joker (aka Duck Duck Goose)
I LOVE this pic of my boys.
The Batman pinata was a huge hit!
Cheering on the pinata.
Cake!
Love the bright blue icing ALL over their faces...

Rangers
We had the best time at the Rangers ALCS game 2 last. First time ever walk off grand slam in post season history by Nelson Cruz! The crowd was wild! So so so fun :) I'm so glad Brendan let me tag along on his guy's night.

Updates on the Boys
Wright
- He comes home everyday and before I can get him out of the car, he has gone to his room and taken his shoes, socks and pants off. Then he runs outside to play in his underwear.
- Recently he is really interested in his ABCs and is constantly asking what letter words start with. He also knows most letters and their sounds. It was like it happened overnight.
- He is obsessed with his cousins and is always talking about Max and Luke to everyone who will listen. The other day I heard a kid in his class say that "fan" starts with the letter F and then Wright said "Max and Luke have fans at their house!" His poor teacher must be so annoyed.
- He has the kindest heart and is always telling me I am pretty and asking us about our day. Everyday after school he tells Spencer "Buddy, your work is so good. I am so proud of you."
- He has been telling me a lot recently that he wants a baby sister.
- His favorite things to do are swing (now that he can pump his legs), play outside, play action figures and Batman cave, go out to eat and of course watch shows.
- He loves to listen to "songs about Jesus" when we are in the car.
Spencer
- He says "Meow" about cats and any other word that starts with C. His teacher Miss Claudia is "Meow".
- His favorite thing to do is play outside/"guide" on the slide and swing. When he is inside, he doesn't really play as much as he wanders around.
- He has always been easy to drop off but recently has become very clingy when its time to go to school or church.
- When I put him in crib time, he never plays. Instead he just grabs his blanket/"ni ni" and lays there for 45 minutes.
- He thinks he is 4 years old. We found him a few weeks ago in the backyard trying to drive the Jeep car.
- He idolizes his big brother "Rye". I catch him in the back seat just staring at Wright the whole time we are in the car.
- He is not small at all but we are not sure why not because he eats half of what Wright did at his age.
