Spencer's 2nd Birthday

Spencer is 2! We had a small party at our house to celebrate with family and a few friends. He can't have cake because of the eggs, so it was a breakfast/donut party on the morning of his bday - NYE. It was very fun and relaxed and he had a great time.

The decorations were gumballs and lollipops - sugar!

The table...

We had all breakfast food which is Spencer's favorite meal - kolaches, donuts, sausage and strawberries.

Here is a picture of Lanie in Spencer's new car...he is too scared to even sit in it.

We borrowed a small bounce house and the kids loved playing in it - turned out to be a nice December morning.

Spencer and Aunt Dee.

Waiting for his bday donut.

Max and Luke.

Birthday boy...

He worked on his donut for about 30 minutes!

He loved his new raincoat and boots - did not want to take them off.

Spencer Says I Love You

The other night when I put Spencer to bed and was leaving his room, I said "I love you". He said back "I yuv oo" - first time he said it on his own! So cute. He is also repeating a lot more recently. He will say prayers before meals by repeating after us. They go like this "Dee Ga, Day do, Blah Blah, I yuv voo, AMET!" Translation - Dear God, Thank you for this day and my blessings, I love you. Amen" :)

The boys had a blast playing with all their new toys in the cul-de-sac.

Spencer was and is still terrified of Wright's remote control car.

Thanks Aunt Meggy!

Spencer seems to like Wright's scooter more than Wright does.

Harley was the most awesome dog - Brendan wanted to take him home :)

Just a funny pic of Wright after he fell.

The Collinson boys got real motor bikes.

The last night the Hamiltons came over. Here is Porter.

And sweet Jack :)

Hamiltons (minus Cole), Collinsons and Morrises (minus Spencer) - thats a lot of boys!

Christmas 2011

Here are some pics from Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Everyone on the couch before bed.

Dressed for church.

Posing in our aprons while cooking pizza.

Wright making his pizza with Aunt Kimmy.

The coolest surprise was when Santa came to visit the boys on Christmas Eve.

He had a list with their names all on it. And Wright was ecstatic shouting "Mommy, Mommy my name is on the list!"

Santa and the boys.

Porter posing by his one gift he got to open on Christmas Eve.

Uncle Newt had the idea to go caroling in their cul-de-sac.

Waiting patiently to come downstairs to open presents.

The joy of kids on Christmas :)

Wright was prety much like this all day long - LOVES his Leapster.

This was Wright coming down the stairs - in complete awe ;)

Santa brought a scooter!

Posing for pics.

Uncle Newt and baby Wright.

Spencer got a shopping cart and a cell phone from the dollar store. Would you believe he loved the phone more!

Atlanta - Stone Mountain

We spent Christmas in Atlanta this year. It was a long trip but a really fun time! The boys had a blast with their cousins and we loved getting to catch up and spend time with the Collinsons. The first day there we had a family outing to Stone Mountain.

The cousins posing on the way in.

Riding the gondola up the rock.

Love this pic of Kim and the boys.

B and me and all the kids.

Sister pic :)

And we began our descent...

Stopping to wait on the kids (my kids).

Spencer wanted snack breaks along the way.

Brewer and Cannon.

Spencer rode on shoulders, backs and in arms most of the time.

Funny faces...

Jumping...

The train ride.

They look A LOT alike in this pic :)
