Here are some pics from Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Everyone on the couch before bed.
Dressed for church.
Posing in our aprons while cooking pizza.
Wright making his pizza with Aunt Kimmy.
The coolest surprise was when Santa came to visit the boys on Christmas Eve.
He had a list with their names all on it. And Wright was ecstatic shouting "Mommy, Mommy my name is on the list!"
Santa and the boys.
Porter posing by his one gift he got to open on Christmas Eve.
Uncle Newt had the idea to go caroling in their cul-de-sac.
Waiting patiently to come downstairs to open presents.
The joy of kids on Christmas :)
Wright was prety much like this all day long - LOVES his Leapster.
This was Wright coming down the stairs - in complete awe ;)
Santa brought a scooter!
Posing for pics.
Uncle Newt and baby Wright.
Spencer got a shopping cart and a cell phone from the dollar store. Would you believe he loved the phone more!

Atlanta - Stone Mountain
We spent Christmas in Atlanta this year. It was a long trip but a really fun time! The boys had a blast with their cousins and we loved getting to catch up and spend time with the Collinsons. The first day there we had a family outing to Stone Mountain.
The cousins posing on the way in.
Riding the gondola up the rock.
Love this pic of Kim and the boys.
B and me and all the kids.
Sister pic :)
And we began our descent...

Wright's Christmas Program
We have quite the performer on our hands. Wright loves being on stage and really comes alive, getting into all the motions and taking the singing VERY seriously. His Christmas program at school was a big deal to him and having Mimi, his cousins, Aunt Melanie, Candace, Wesley AND Dad all come to watch made him feel very special! His class sang three songs and hard ones too. They did Frosty the Snowman, Away in a Manger and three verses of Do You Hear What I Hear. It was impressive! I wish these pictures could even begin to do justice to his star quality :)

Wright's Prayer
Loved this prayer of Wright's last night :)
Dear Lord,
Thank you for Mommy, Daddy and Spencer. Thank you for all my presents I got for Christmas. Help me to enjoy them...I just love them so much. Thank you for holding me with your right hand. Amen.

Santa Stops 2011
We had a great time at our 3rd annual Santa stops. This is one of the best traditions and the kids love that Santa comes to visit them personally, brings a small gift and reads them a Christmas story.
Spence waiting for the big guy to arrive.
All the kids minus Amelia.
I actually got TWO good shots of all of them!
The original three :)
Spencer and Maddie - I think he has a crush on her...
He's FINALLY here!
Wright told Santa he wanted a lightning McQueen car that races.

Our Boys
Here are some tidbits on the boys recently...
Spencer:
- Everytime I get out the camera, he immediately sits down, gives a big smile and says "Cheese"
- He loves to play with the dog bowls STILL, today he came walking in the room with dog water all over his face! He had clearly been trying to drink with Lucy.
- He talks all the time now and no one knows what he is saying but him. He'll come up to me and look at me intently saying something like "Ba ba da be la do Mommy". Oh how I wish we spoke the same language.
Wright
He just cracks us up every single day. Here are some recent funnies:
- At Thanksgiving dinner, his uncle asked his cousin what he wanted to drink to which Wright chimed in "How about some vodka?" After much laughter, he followed it up with "My mommy loves vodka." LOL! That night he told us he was "just being silly..."
- Out of nowhere, he will use expressions like "As a matter of fact Mom" or "Get a grip Spence!"
- Today someone asked me for my phone number and I said "214.80.." and he finished my number for me. I had no idea he even knew it! Such a sponge!
We have been working on scripture memory as a family and he has already learned 6 new verses in 6 weeks. It is amazing to watch him learn and so neat when I catch him singing the verses to himself when he doesn't know I am watching.
Some pics...

Christmas PJs!
When I looked out the window, I saw Spencer teeing up the ball and hitting it himself. I ran out to take a pic and as soon as I saw him, he sat down and said "Cheese!" (below).

Thanksgiving
We started out Thanksgiving this year taking the boys to the Turkey Trot with Aunt Megan. It was quite an adventure. Spencer was bored and cold so cried a lot, but the rest of us had a great time. Afterward, we cooked and then went up to Frisco for turkey dinner with the Mitchells, and Will and Judy.
