We had a fun day today. We went to the splash park with Jake (and Jennie) and Lauren (and Katie). Wright loved crawling around in the splashing water and sticking his face in the geysers. To my surprise it didn't even seem to hurt him when it hit him right in the face! He LOVES Lauren and is very interested in what she is doing and "showing" her what he is doing. I really think she is his best friend right now. They sit next to each other and study what the other one is doing. It is really adorable.
He is growing so much every day and is very independent and thoughtful. Recently, he is a big talker. Everything is ba ba, da da, pah pah, hah hah and ma ma, but ba ba ba ba ba is by far his favorite thing to say. He has also started waving his arm which I swear is him attempting to say "hello" and "goodbye." Now that he is crawling everywhere, he is getting into a lot more trouble. Last weekend he fell three times and had a bruise on his head, busted lip and cut on his face. He cries when he first hurts himself but quickly recovers and goes right back to what he was doing. Such a boy!
