Last week we went to the arboretum and Wright was pretty much a disaster the whole time. He kept running off from me and continually disobeying. So when we decided to go again today, I was a little apprehensive. Wright and I had a talk on the way there about staying with mommy and obeying. That combined with prayers about it made for a great day! He was so good and we really had a wonderful time. We even managed to get a few good pics.Spencer loved being outside and laying in the shade of the stroller.
When we got home, I asked Wright what his favorite part of the day was. I asked "Was it the play houses?", "Was it the petting zoo?", "Was it running in the field?" He kept answering no. So I said "Well what was your favorite part?" He goes, "Um sandwiches and chips." So typical.
Another funny thing happened when he was in the bath tonight. He put the water cup on his head and said "Look Mommy, its my birthday, my birthday hat." So we sang happy birthday to Wright together and then pretended to blow out the candles. Then I asked what he wished for and he said "cupcakes." After that, he had to sing happy birthday to Eleanor and Lanie. And then the suprise one, Mr. Scott (Eleanor's dad).
